Women's Lacrosse Earns Two All-ACC Honors

Blacksburg, Va. - Two members of the Boston College women's lacrosse team have earned All-ACC honors from the conference according to a press release by the ACC released Thursday evening.
Sophomore Midfield Kristin Igoe and senior goalkeeper Katie Monaghan were voted to the 20-member squad by the leagues six head coaches. It is the first All-ACC honor for either player and the first time that BC has placed two members on the squad in their four years in the ACC.
Igoe (Framingham, Mass.) has started all 17 games for the Eagles in her sophomore year after redshirting as a freshman due to injury and compiled 49 points on 39 goals and 10 assists. She leads the team in overall goals scored and in goals points and draw controls in conference play.
Monaghan (Sherwood Forest, Md.) is the Eagles starting goalkeeper and leads the ACC with the highest overall save percentage (.494) and was first in the ACC in saves per game (11.00) and second in save percentage (.466).
The Eagles will host Harvard University in their final game of the season and celebrate the accomplishments of their senior class on Thursday April 30 at 4:30 p.m.
