Three Cross Country Women Earn Academic Honors

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Boston College seniors Mallory Champa and Nichole Lister and junior Jessica Driscoll were each named to the 2008 All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Women's Cross Country Team, announced Wednesday by Commissioner John D. Swofford.
To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative grade point average during her academic career.
All three Eagles were named to the team last year. Lister has been a member of the All-ACC Academic Team for all four years of her career while Champa has been honored three times. This was the second appearance for Driscoll.
Champa and Lister are two of eight runners on the list that earned All-ACC accolades in the fall.
