Asselin Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District Team

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Senior right-handed pitcher Nick Asselin was named to the CoSIDA Academic District 1 Second Team for his academic excellence at Boston College.

Asselin, a graduate student in the College of Advanced Studies, maintained a perfect 4.0 grade-point average during the 2008 baseball season.

The Bedford, N.H., native has made 14 ACC appearances out of the BC bullpen, which tops the conference in that category. He owns a 1-1 record with a 3.20 ERA and 42 strikeouts in 39.1 innings.
