LYNN, Mass. - Eric Campbell went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBI on his 21st birthday to lead Boston College past Northeastern, 13-6 in the Beanpot semifinal matchup at Fraser Field. The Eagles will play the winner of the nightcap between Harvard and Massachusetts next Wednesday at Fenway Park.
BC extended its win streak to seven games and now owns an 18-14 overall record, while Northeastern dropped to 11-14-1.
The Eagles pounded out 14 hits and drew nine walks off five different Northeastern pitchers. Matt Hamlet joined Campbell with a three-hit day at the plate. Hamlet collected three doubles and two RBI, while eight other BC players tallied base hits on the day.

The Huskies jumped on Dean early in the first. Leadoff hitter Tony DiCesare lined a base hit through the left side to start the game. After he advanced to second on a wild pitch, DiCesare scored on a RBI single down the right-field line to take the 1-0 lead.
Northeastern upped the lead, 3-0, when DiCesare doubled off the fence in left-center to score David Gustafson. DiCesare would later score on a RBI single by Mike Tasmin.
BC scored its first run in the top of the fourth off Northeastern left-hander Ryan Quigley (0-2). Garret Smith hit a RBI single down the right-field to plate Campbell to make the score 3-1.
