Lacrosse's Jenna McCabe Named to All-ACC Team

Charlottesville, Va. - Boston College junior lacrosse player Jenna McCabe was one of 19 players named to the All-ACC team on Thursday evening. The attacker has scored 47 points on 38 goals and nine assists. This is the second time McCabe has garnered this honor.
McCabe, a Brunswick, Maine, native leads the team in points, goals, shots (88). McCabe also put together a 15-game scoring streak, recorded at least one point in every game this season.
McCabe ranks fifth on BC's all-time goals (92) list and is sixth on the career points (119) list.
Four players from Duke, North Carolina, Maryland and Virginia were also named to the conference all-star team. Virginia Tech's Kady McBrearty earned the honor for the Hokies.
The Eagles lost to the North Carolina Tar Heels, 12-8, in the ACC Quarterfinals on April 24. They return home and face Harvard on Wednesday, April 30 at 7 p.m. in Cambridge, Mass.
