Tyrese Rice To Miss Season Opener

The Eagles will play the season opener without senior guard Tyrese Rice.

Senior guard Tyrese Rice has been suspended from Boston College's season-opening game because of a violation of team rules, according to an announcement made by the school.

Rice, an All-ACC preseason first-team selection, will sit out the team's season opener against Central Connecticut tonight.

Rice will return to action for the Eagles' game against Loyola (Md.) in the first round of the NIT Season Tip-Off.
