Ryan Named ACC Player Of Week

Senior quarterback Matt Ryan has received ACC Player of the Week honors. Ryan was chosen as the ACC's Offensive Back of the Week. In Saturday night's win over No. 15 Georgia Tech, Ryan completed 30 of 44 pass attempts for a career-high 435 yards and a touchdown with no interceptions. On BC's opening drive of the night, Ryan led the Eagle offense on an 11-play, 95-yard touchdown drive to take a 7-0 lead that would never be relinquished. Boston College went on to amass 527 total yards of offense against the stout Yellow Jacket defense.
Other ACC awards went to Virginia OT Eugene Monroe (Offensive Lineman), Virginia Tech LB Vince Hall (Defensive Lineman), Duke LB Vincent Ray (Defensive Back), Virginia PK Chris Gould (Specialist), and North Carolina QB T.J. Yates (Rookie).
