Boston College linebacker Jo-Lonn Dunbar has been named ACC Defensive Lineman of the Week, the league has announced.
Dunbar, a senior from Syracuse, N.Y., had eight total tackles, including four solos, and returned an interception 14 yards for a touchdown in the Eagles' 37-17 win over North Carolina State. The interception return was his second for a touchdown. In all, he has four interception or fumble returns for touchdowns.
Other ACC Players of the Week included Clemson quarterback Cullen Harper (offensive back), Virginia tight end Tom Santi (offensive lineman), North Carolina linebacker Durell Mapp (defensive back), North Carolina wide receiver Brandon Tate (specialist) and Georgia Tech running back Jonathan Dwyer (rookie).
Dunbar's award was the third for the Eagles this season. Last week, quarterback Matt Ryan and cornerback DeJuan Tribble received Player of the Week honors.
