Jared Dudley Honored In San Diego

Boston College's Jared Dudley was recognized by the San Diego Hall of Champions with two "Star of the Month" awards. The awards were presented on July 19.
A graduate of San Diego's Horizon High School, Dudley earned the awards in recognition of his ACC accomplishments over the past two seasons - gaining All-ACC honors in March 2006 and ACC Player of the Year honors in March 2007.
San Diego Chargers general manager A.J. Smith presented the awards.
Dudley, who was selected by the Charlotte Bobcats with the 17th pick in the 2007 NBA Draft, recently completed play in the Pepsi Pro Summer League in Orlando, Fla. He averaged 12.6 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.0 steal per game in five games. Among his highlights was his play against Orlando, a game in which he finished with 17 points, nine rebounds, six assists and two steals. He shot 6-for-9 from the field in the contest.

Louis Hinnant '06 is one of the 30 finalists of the "Miller Lite Go Pro Challenge," the fan-generated content promotion that gives aspiring players an unconventional way to pursue their dreams of playing professional basketball. Miller Lite and the NBA Development League (D-League) announced the finalists on July 18.
Hinnant and the other 29 winners each submitted a three-minute highlight reel to NBA.com/gopro and earned their spot in the "Miller Lite 30-Pack." All 30 winners will attend the NBA Development League Pre-Draft Camp presented by Miller Lite in Arlington, Texas on July 28 and 29.

Nate Doornekamp '05 , who played this past season in Germany, recently completed play with the Utah Jazz summer entry in the 2007 Rocky Mountain Revue. He averaged 2.0 points and 1.4 rebounds in 10.0 minutes per game in five contests.
Utah finished with a 3-3 record.
