Jenna McCabe Earns second-team IWLCA Division 1 Honors

CHESTNUT HILL, MA - Boston College sophomore Jenna McCabe earned 2007 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division I North All-Region second-team honors, the committee announced on May 21.
Student-athletes selected to the North All-Region team are now eligible for national All-America honors, which will be announced on May 29. The IWLCA honored 128 student-athletes in Division 1with inclusion on one of eight All-Regional teams, with each of the four regions naming first and second team honors.
McCabe, a native Maine, played in 17 games and started 16 for the Eagles. She led the team in goals scored with 38 and was second in points with 45. McCabe scored a season-high seven points against Harvard with six goals and one assist, and also notched a hat trick against the ACC's top two teams - Maryland and Duke.
The Boston College attacker became the first Eagles lacrosse player to be named an All-ACC first-team honoree.
