Rowing competes at Resolute Cup

Boston College's women's rowing team faced Rhode Island, Bucknell, and two Radcliffe boats at the Resolute Cup on April 7, in Kingston, R.I.
The Eagles raced two varsity eight boats, a varsity four, and a novice eight boat.
Their best finish came in the second varsity eight race, with a time of 7:55.23, slightly off the pace of second place Rhode Island, who finished the race in 7:53.96.
The Eagles also narrowly missed a third place finish in the novice eight race. The Eagles came in fourth, with a time of 8:22.56. Rhode Island's second novice boat finished in third place with a time of 8:21.48.
The Bucknell Bisons won the varsity and second varsity eight races. Rhode Island took home the varsity four title, while the Radcliffe lightweights won the novice eight race. Rhode Island won the overall points trophy.
The Eagles will compete for the Knecht Cup next weekend on the Cooper River in Camden, N.J. BC's schedule and lane assignments are as follows for Saturday, April 14 (schedule for Sunday, April 15 will be determined by Saturday's performances).
