Junior wide receiver Brandon Robinson, known as "B-Rob" to his teammates, had a 17-yard touchdown reception in last season's win over Maryland. This season, he is the Eagles' leading receiver, averaging 72.3 yards per game. Last week he had 7 catches for a career-high 163 yards and a TD against FSU.
Robinson met with members of the news media to discuss this weekend's game against the Terrapins.
Q: How long did it take you to get over this past week's loss?
B-Rob: When Sunday was over. When Sunday practice ended, that's when Florida State got out of my mind and I began to focus on Maryland.
Q: Does it help to get over a loss with having the ACC Championship still as a goal?
R-Rob: I think it does. That was our goal from the beginning and we're going to continue to work toward it.
Q: Do you notice anything different on campus after the loss?
B-Rob: I don't think so...we are continuing to focus on the game ahead and working hard in practice.
Q: Do you enjoy night games? Or does the day leading up to them cause you anxiety?
B-Rob: I like night games. I use the day to mentally prepare. It's a good chance to relax and clear your mind before the game. I know that I usually just sit in my room by myself about an hour before getting on the bus with all the lights off; everything off, like phone, TV, everything. It just helps me focus, and that's not something I necessarily have the time to do when we play a day game.
