Men's Soccer No. 2 In Latest RPI Poll

Boston College men's soccer has been ranked second in the NCAA RPI poll, jumping one spot from the previous rankings that were released on Oct. 15.
Wake Forest, which suffered a 1-0 loss to Boston College last Saturday, remains in the top spot in the RPI.
BC is one of seven Atlantic Coast Conference schools that are ranked in the RPI's top 25 along with No. 9 Virginia Tech, No. 14 Maryland, No. 20 Virginia, No. 21 North Carolina and No. 25 Duke.
The rankings of all 202 teams were generated on Tuesday, Oct. 30.
The Eagles most recently earned their 11th win of the season (11-3-1) with a 2-1 overtime victory at Holy Cross on Wednesday evening.
Boston College is 6-0-0 in ACC play and is five points ahead of second-place Wake Forest with two conference games - at Clemson (Nov. 4) and against Virginia Tech (Nov. 9) - left in regular-season play.
The RPI -- Ratings Percentage Index -- is used by the NCAA to determine which teams will receive at-large bids into the NCAA tournament following the regular season.
