Austin, Texas - Boston College Track and Field athlete, Kasey Hill broke her own school record in the heptathlon on Thursday at the Texas Relays with 5,256 points. Hill finished seventh overall.

Hill moved up four spots in the final standings with a strong finish in the last three events on Thursday.

The junior earned 671 points in the long jump with a mark of 17 feet, 8 1/2 inches. Hill threw the javelin 114-02.00 for 568 points. Her time of 2:17.67 in the 800 earned her final 855 points.

Hill broke her own record she set in 2005.
