Winston-Salem, N.C. - The Boston College women's track and field team competed at the ACC Championship over the weekend, placing 12th. Kasey Hill set a new school record in the heptathlon with 5423 points and placing second in the event.
Alison Fogarty ran the fastest 200-meter dash for the women this season, clocking in at 25.76 seconds. Fogarty also placed 13th in the 400 with a time of 57.66.
In the 800, Mary Heitkamp placed 18th in a time of 2:14.59.
Nichole Lister also recorded the fastest time for the Eagles this season in the 1500 with a time of 4:24.48, finishing fifth overall.
Jess Flinn ran the 5000 in 17:11.43, her season-best, while Mallory Champa finished closely behind her in 19th place. Champa finished in 17:17.42.
Maria Cicero ran the 10000 in 37:29.15 for 10th place overall.
Katherine Sherman finished 11th overall in 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:02.89. It was a season-best for Boston College.
Alexis Lake improved her personal-best in the 3000-steeplechase with a 10:36.58 finish. Lake is now third on BC's all-time outdoor performance list. Anne Hessberg finished ninth in the event, and Kristen Coon finished 12th with a personal-best of 11:09.27.
The 4x400-relay team finished eighth with a time of 3:48.38.
Julie Regan placed ninth in the high jump with a mark of 5-05.00.
