Men's Soccer Lands Three on All-ACC Academic Team

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Three Eagles Jamen Amato, Bill Arnault and Brendon Ferullo, were named to the Men's Soccer All-ACC Academic Team, according to an announcement made by the conference office.
Amato, who carries a 3.547 G.P.A in History, was honored by the Big East all-academic team in 2004. The junior defender was a staple in the back for the Eagles this season, starting 13 games and adding a goal and an assist.
Arnault, a senior captain, earned academic all-conference for the fourth year. Arnault has previously been named Verizon/CoSida Academic All-America, and also the Boston College Outstanding Male Scholar-Athlete three times. The midfielder had a fine senior season, starting in all but one game and earning NSCAA All-Region honors. He was named an all-conference performer three times in the Big East. Arnault holds a G.P.A of 3.941 in Philosphy and English.
Fellow senior Brendon Ferullo captured academic all-conference honors for the third year, boasting a G.P.A of 3.941 in Mathematics. Ferullo was a 2004 honoree of the Boston College Outstanding Male Scholar-Athlete award. On the field, Ferullo saw action in eight games and added an assist.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must carry a G.P.A of at least 3.00 for the previous semester and maintained this standard throughout their academic career.
