Tulsa, Ok. - Britney Thompson pitched a complete game and hit a sixth-inning home run to lead the Boston College softball team to a 3-2 win over the Tulsa in Tulsa, Ok.
Tulsa scored in the top of the first, but the Eagles got the run back in the second on a Renee Ramos RBI double. The Golden Hurricaine scored again in the fourth, but BC answered on a Jenna Macchi double to tie the score. Macchi was 3 for 3 on the day.
In the sixth innning, Thompson homered to left-center to give the Eagles the lead for good, as she finished out the game on the mound and earned the win.
The Eagles will take on Creighton to finish out the weekend on Sunday.
