In that span, the Hawks ran off 10 points in two minute behind a jumper from Ayahna Cornish and two big three-pointers from Jenna Loschiavo. The Hawks took the lead at 5:16 on a driving lay-up from Mary Kate McDade, 49-47.

With 1:08 to play, Ress gave the Eagles a 53-52 lead but gave the points back when she fouled Cornish driving to the hoop. The Hawks guard hit two from the charity stripe. With the Hawks up, 54-53, Ress was foul and hit one of two foul shots to tie the game at 54 with 13 seconds to play.
The Eagles fouled Whitney French immediately and she nailed two freebies with 10 seconds left. BC went to Ress who missed the lay-up and was called for a foul going for the rebound. Cornish would hit the two free throws to seal the victory for the Hawks.
