Important Traffic Notes For Thursday Night Football Game

Fans preparing to attend Boston College-Virginia Tech football game this coming Thursday evening at Alumni Stadium (7:30 p.m.) should be aware of the following:

-Gates to campus parking lots will open at 4:30 p.m. for permit-holders.

-All satellite parking lots will open at 5:30 p.m.

-Shuttle bus service from the satellite parking lots will begin at 5:30 p.m.

-As weekday traffic will be heavy and parking is at a premium, fans are urged to take the T (public transportation) to the game and should be aware that the last inbound trains following the game will be departing the station at 12:10 a.m.

-In accordance with BC's license with the city of Boston, postgame tailgating will be prohibited.
