Women's Cross Country Ranked Fifth in Northeast

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Boston College women's cross country is ranked fifth in the Northeast Region in the latest USTFCCCA poll which was released on October 2. The Eagles fell one spot this week even though they placed second at the Iona Meet of Champions out of 18 competing schools. Providence is ranked first, while Boston University, Yale and Iona are ranked second, third and fourth respectively. Rounding out the top ten are Cornell, Columbia, Brown, Syracuse and New Hampshire.
Boston College will look to improve on its ranking at the New England Championships this weekend at Franklin Park in Boston. The racing begins at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 7.
