Men's Golf Places 12th at Joe Agee Invitational

Willamsburg, Va. - Junior Bob Reed led all Boston College men's golfers and placed 18th overall at the Joe Agee Invitational in Williamsburg, Va. In the meet hosted by the College ofWilliam & Mary, Reed shot a three round score of 215. Overall, the men's golf team finished in 12th place in the 18 school tournament, shooting 889 over the three rounds.
Junior Jim Granello was 30th with a two-day score of 219. Granello and Reed had a team best single round score of 70. Redshirt senior Kyle Kelly tied for 57th overall, shooting a 227, while junior Alex Snickenberger was tied for 64th. Snickenberger shot a three round score of 229. Freshman Jan Prokop rounded out the finishers for the Eagles, scoring 235. The tournament included 94 golfers and par was set at 70.
The men's golf team will next compete in the ECAC Championships on Saturday, October 14 and Sunday, October 15 at Charlestown, R.I. The tournament will tee-off at 8 a.m. each morning.
