Kyle Singer Joins Men's Soccer Coaching Staff

Former Boston College goalkeeper Kyle Singer has been named an assistant men's soccer coach, according to an announcement by Boston College head coach Ed Kelly. Singer returns to Boston College after having coached for two years at Northeastern in 2003 and 2004. He is now in his third season as a goalkeeper with the New England Revolution of Major League Soccer.
Singer earned Big East Goalkeeper of the Year honors in 2002 after setting the Boston College single-season record for wins by a goalie with 17. He was drafted by the New England Revolution with the 29th pick in the third round of the 2002 MLS SuperDraft.
In his one season at Boston College, Singer posted four shutouts, a 1.32 goals against average and a .793 save percentage. Singer earned All-Big East First Team and NSCAA All-New England First Team accolades.
Singer transferred to Boston College in 2002 after having played for three years at the University of Virginia.
