Hill Sets School Record In Tufts Heptathlon

Sophomore Kasey Hill established a new Boston College record with her performance in the heptathlon at the Tufts University "Hillside" meet on Thursday and Friday.
Hill scored a school-record 4,852 points en route to winning the event. The sophomore eclipsed her previous school record by nearly 41 points and qualified for the 2005 Big East Championships.
Senior co-captain Liz Hassan established a new personal best in the heptathlon with her score of 4,647 points. Hassan finished second in the event.
Senior Jacqueline Tanzella also set a new personal best in the event with a score of 4,392 points and finished third. Hassan and Tanzella also qualified for the Big East Championships.
