Hughes Fastest To 200 Wins

Pete Hughes earned his 200th win at Boston College with the baseball team's 7-3 win over Rhode Island last Thursday. The Eagles proceeded to sweep a three-game series from Big East rival Seton Hall over the weekend, improving the team's record to 18-6.

Hughes is in his seventh season at BC and boasts an overall record of 203-136-1. He has reached the 200-win plateau faster than any other coach in BC baseball history.

The Eagles started the season with four consecutive losses and have rebounded to win 18 of their last 20 games. Their 6-1 Big East record puts them at the top of the conference standings.
