Kiwanuka Receives All-ACC First-Team Honors

Boston College defensive end Mathias Kiwanuka has received All-ACC First-Team honors, the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association (ACSMA) has announced. Kiwanuka, a 6-7, 262-pound senior from Indianapolis, was the top vote-getter on the First-Team defense.
Wide receiver Will Blackmon, offensive tackle Jeremy Trueblood, offensive guard Josh Beekman and center Patrick Ross all received Second-Team honors. Blackmon also received Honorable Mention notice for his work as a specialist. Safety Jamie Silva also received Honorable Mention status.
In addition to Kiwanuka, the First-Team defense includes Darryl Tapp, DL, Virginia Tech; Mario Williams, DL, N.C. State; Manny Lawson, DL, N.C. State; D'Qwell Jackson, LB, Maryland; Stephen Tulloch, LB, N.C. State; Kai Parham, LB, Virginia; Jimmy Williams, DB, Virginia Tech; Kelly Jennings, DB, Miami; Tye Hill, DB, Clemson, and John Talley, DB, Duke.
The First-Team offense includes Marcus Vick, QB, Virginia Tech; Chris Barclay, RB, Wake Forest; Tyrone Moss, RB, Miami; Calvin Johnson, WR, Georgia Tech; Chansi Stuckey, WR, Clemson; Vernon Davis, TE, Maryland; Eric Winston, OT, Miami; D'Brickashaw Ferguson, OT, Virginia; Jason Murphy, OG, Virginia Tech; Kyle Ralph, OG, North Carolina, and Will Montgomery, C, Virginia Tech.
