Jared Dudley Earns Big East Weekly Honor

Boston College sophomore Jared Dudley has been selected as the Big East Player of the Week for his effort in the Eagles' victory over West Virginia on Jan. 16, according to an announcement made by the league office.
Dudley, a 6-foot-7-inch forward, registered 21 points and 10 rebounds - both team highs. The game marked his second double-double of the season. He shot 8-for-13 from the field. Dudley also recorded four steals.
Dudley is averaging 14.6 points and 7.1 rebounds per game through 14 games. He has played a team-high 483 minutes, an average of 34.5 minutes per game.
Boston College (14-0, 3-0 Big East) returns to action on Wednesday, January 19 against Villanova. Game time is 7:30 p.m. in Conte Forum.
The 13th-ranked Eagles are one of only four undefeated teams in the nation. A new national poll will be released later today.
