Boston College has announced its 2004-05 men's basketball and men's hockey schedules. The school received the final versions of both schedules from the two teams' respective league offices. The men's basketball team will play 27 games, including 16 league contests. Its non-conference schedule is highlighted by a Dec. 5 game against UCLA in the John Wooden Classic in Anaheim, Calif. The game will mark a homecoming for BC's three Golden State residents -- Craig Smith (Los Angeles), Jared Dudley (San Diego) and Sean Marshall (Rialto). In addition, BC will host future ACC rival Clemson in Conte Forum on Nov. 26. The ice hockey team opens its regular-season schedule against defending national champion Denver. The game will be played in Kelley Rink on Friday, Nov. 15. After two road games, including the league opener against UMass-Lowell and a game at Notre Dame, the Eagles return home to face WCHA power North Dakota.
