CHESTNUT HILL, MASS. - Junior Szilvia Szegedi (Dunakeszi, Hungary), Boston College's top singles player, was named to the BIG EAST All-Tournament Team while the Eagles' No. 1 doubles tandem of Emily Hellberg (Spring Lake, Mich.) and Nida Waseem (Karachi, Pakistan) earned All-Tournament Team accolades as well, the conference announced on Friday.

Since splitting their first ten matches of the season, the Eagles reeled off nine straight wins, knocking off 22nd-ranked Harvard in the process, and were ranked as high as 46th in the nation according to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) in their spring campaign.
Boston College registered a 15-6 overall record, including a perfect 8-0 mark at home, and advanced to the semifinals of the 2004 BIG EAST Championships before falling to 23rd-ranked and eventual champion Miami.
