Reston, Va. - Jessica Steward fired an 80-79-159 to finish fourth overall and Alison Walshe posted a 77-84-161, good for a tie for sixth place, as the Eagles finished second in the 15-team field at the Hoya Invitational in Reston, Va. In an event at which heavy wind and cold temperatures made scores higher than usual, Radford won the event and the individual medalist was Bucknell's Celine Herbin.
BC's Kori Goulet recorded an 86-81-167 to tie for 13th and Elizabeth Callery's 82-87-169 was good for a tie for 21st. Moira O'Connell posted an 85-85-170 and tied for 24th as the fifth scorer for the Eagles.
The Eagles will be off this weekend and then will host the Ninth Lady Eagle Invitational at the Ridge Club in South Sandwich, Mass. on April 3 and 4.
