Eagles Sit in 13th Through Two Rounds of ACC Championships

J. Zhang leads the team at 1-over par in 30th place

WILMINGTON, N.C. - Boston College Women's Golf kicked off the 2026 ACC Championships on Thursday at Porters Neck Country Club in Wilmington, N.C. The Eagles currently sit in 13th place at 16-over par.

The Eagles totaled 592 across the opening two rounds, registering a 294 in the first round followed by a 298 in the second round.

Freshman Joyce Zhang leads the way for Boston College, tied for 30th place at 1-over par. She scored an opening round 71 before closing the first day with a 74, logging three birdies.

Next is her older sister, senior Cynthia Zhang, who is tied for 35th place at 2-over par. She recorded 73's in both rounds and holds a team-leading eight birdies through the first 36 holes.

Sophomore Ana Lucia Trevino is tied for 52nd place at 5-over par after posting an opening round score of 75 and a second round score of 74.

Junior Frances Kim registered scores of 75 and 78 to finish in a tie for 65th place at 9-over par, and graduate student Tiffany Cao is in a tie for 71st place at 13 over par.

Boston College will tee off the first hole with Louisville and Notre Dame, beginning at 8:00 a.m.
