Alison Walshe Wins BIG EAST Individual Golf Title

South Bend, Ind. - Freshman Alison Walshe continued her stellar rookie season this weekend, winning the individual title at the BIG EAST Championship at the Warren Golf Course at Notre Dame. Walshe's three-round score, a four-over-par 220, set a new tournament record as the Eagles finished third overall.
Junior Kori Goulet was the second Eagle finisher, placing 11th overall with a three-round score of 239 (78-78-83). Elizabeth Friel tied for 13th with an 83-80-79-242 and Elizabeth Callery rounded out the BC scorers with an 86-83-84-253 to place 18th.
