Sophomore forward Craig Smith earned All-Tournament honors at the 2004 BIG EAST Championship, according to an announcement made by the league office.
Smith also captured All-Tournament accolades in 2003.
Smith was the only player on the five-man team who did not compete in the title game. The other team members were Pittsburgh's Chris Taft and Carl Krauser, and Connecticut's Taliek Brown and Ben Gordon. Gordon gained tournament MVP honors.
Smith averaged 19.3 points and 12.0 rebounds per game in the Eagles' three tournament games. He registered a point-rebound double-double in each of the games, becoming the first player in league history to record three double-doubles in one tournament.
Smith tallied 16 points and 14 rebounds against Georgetown (first round); 22 points and 10 rebounds against Syracuse (quarterfinal round); and 20 points and 12 rebounds against Pittsburgh (semifinal round).
