Jared Dudley Earns BIG EAST Rookie Of The Week Accolades

Boston College freshman Jared Dudley (San Diego, Calif.) earned BIG EAST Rookie of the Week honors, the conference announced on Monday. The 6-7 freshman tallied a career-high 24 points, to go along with seven rebounds and five assists, in BC's 74-72 overtime win over Miami on February 11. Dudley also scored nine of BC's 10 points in the overtime period to seal the Eagle victory. In Saturday's loss to Providence, Dudley scored eight points and also dished out a team-best six assists. Dudley is BC's second-leading scorer with an average of 12.3 points per game.
