The goal was Harrold's first of the 2004 campaign and the fourth of his BC career. Adams notched his second assist and point on the play.
The physical nature of the game culminated at 18:43 in the second. A near goal by BC was disallowed and that resulted in a skirmish in the crease. Each team put two in the box, all four penalized for hitting after the whistle.
BC went into the second intermission with a 2-1 lead.
At the 10:56 mark in the third, Shannon extended BC's lead to two. Howard came out along the goal line extended and attempted to pass the puck behind the net to a teammate. Shannon got a stick on it, chased the puck down behind the net and nudged in an easy wrap-around.
