Maria Cicero Qualifies For NCAA Championships

Captain Maria Cicero received an at-large bid to the NCAA Championships for her performance at last weekend's NCAA District 1 Qualifier. She finished eighth in the Northeast region and will run in the championships as an individual, not counting towards the stats of the Boston College team.
The NCAA Championships will be held on November 22 at Indiana State University at 11 a.m.
Cicero, who ran a 20:56.5 on Saturday at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, N.Y., earned the second at-large bid for the championships. She will be running to earn her third All-American honor. To complete this goal, she must finish in the top-30 overall in the championships.
