BC's XC teams hosted the BIG EAST Championships this morning at Franklin Park in Boston. The women's squad finished with 134 total points, landing the team in sixth place overall. The men's team finished in eighth overall- tallying 222 total points.
The event featured all ten BIG EAST teams with a maximum of nine runners per school.
BC women's best finisher was Maria Cicero, whose 20:36 landed her at ninth overall. Laurel Burdick and Melissa Sherman also notched notable finishes from the Eagles. Burdick finished in 14th place with a time of 21:08. Sherman's 22:11 landed her in 33rd overall.
The men were led by freshman Adam Moitoso. Moitoso notched a 24:55 in the race, earning a 31st place finish. BC' Drew Bouchard, Mark Alizzi and Patrick Mallea finished in the top 50 in the race.
