Men's Soccer Splits Beanpot Matches

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The men's soccer team went 1-1 in the Beanpot tournament Saturday, April 12 at Nickerson Field, beating Northeastern, 1-0, and losing to Boston University, 1-0, in the championship match.

Freshman Uri Magen-David (La Herradura, Mexico) scored the Eagles' goal against the Huskies, while freshman John Krause (Holliston, Mass.) was credited with the assist. Junior goalkeeper Mike Cardenas (Framingham, Mass.) posted a shutout in net.

Boston College's next scheduled game is April 26 against Providence.
