Softball Announces Dates For Winter Clinic

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Head coach Jen Finley and the Boston College softball team will conduct a two-day clinic in the "Bubble" during December. The clinic will take place under the dome that covers the Alumni Stadium turf field during the winter.
"The Bubble" features full-sized batting cages, the ability to have full field scrimmages, and areas for pitchers to warm-up.
The clinic staff will be supervised by Finley and associate head coach Stephanie Fleischaker. The 2003 BIG EAST Coaching Staff of the Year, Finley and Fleischaker (along with Bob Carr) have led the Eagles to three BIG EAST Championships and three NCAA appearances.
The clinic will run on two successive days in December....the 13th and 14th. The day will see action from 9 a.m. to 12 noon each day and each day will concentrate on offensive work, defensive work, and positional play. There will be scrimmages at the end of camp.
Players ages 12-18 are welcome and the cost is $150 per player. Groups of nine or more players will be charged $100 per player. Registration is being accepted through December 8 only.
