BIG EAST Announces Football Television Schedules

The Boston College football team will appear on NBC, ESPN and espn2 during the 2002 season, with other games possibly televised by ESPN Regional Television, according to the 2002 BIG EAST Football TV schedule.
BC's September 7 clash with Pac-10 foe Stanford will be televised by espn2 with a 3:30 p.m. kickoff. The Eagles are slated to return to ESPN's Thursday night lineup on October 10 in a 7:30 p.m. game against BIG EAST rival Virginia Tech. And the Eagles' November 2 matchup with archrival Notre Dame, which will kick off at 2:30 p.m. from South Bend, Ind., will be televised by NBC.
The BIG EAST also has several games scheduled for ESPN Regional Television. Several more matchups, which could involve Boston College, will be announced at later dates. All games broadcast by ERT are offered as part of the ESPN GamePlan pay subscription service.
