Baseball Contest With Northeastern Moved; Vermont Rescheduled

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Due to unsuitable playing conditions at Shea Field, Boston College's baseball contest with cross-town rival Northeastern, which was scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, has been moved to Northeastern's Parsons Field in Brookline, Mass. for the same time. With the change of venue for tomorrow's game, BC has now concluded its 2002 home schedule.
Following the Eagles' contest with the Huskies, they will play a nine-inning game against Vermont at Parsons Field. Boston College (29-19, 15-8 BIG EAST) was scheduled to play Vermont at 6 p.m. Tuesday, but the game was cancelled due to poor weather in Burlington, Vt.
Northeastern enters with an overall record of 25-19, while Vermont heads into tomorrow's contest with a 26-18 mark.
