Baseball Contest With Vermont Cancelled

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College's baseball contest with Vermont, which was scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday in Burlington, Vt., has been cancelled due to potential poor weather in the area. The game will not be rescheduled.

Boston College (29-19, 15-8 BIG EAST) will conclude the home portion of its schedule at 1 p.m. Wednesday when it takes on cross-town rival Northeastern. The Huskies presently stand at 25-19 overall and 10-10 in the America East Conference. The Eagles dropped their only other meeting with the Huskies, 7-3, back on April 23 in the championship game of the Beanpot Tournament at Fenway Park.
