Freshman Patrick Eaves Suffers Neck Injury

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College freshman forward Patrick Eaves (Faribault, Minn./Pioneer) sustained a neck injury in the Eagles' game against Maine on Saturday, December 7. Eaves will miss at least six weeks of competition because of the injury.
"I just want to say how thankful everyone involved with Boston College hockey is that Patrick will make a full recovery," Boston College head coach Jerry York said. "We can all breathe a sigh of relief and look forward to his return."
Eaves has recorded 10 goals and seven assists in 13 games. He leads the team in goals and is tied for the team lead in points.
Eaves scored the first goal of Saturday's 2-2 tie against Maine.
