Green Rushes To BIG EAST Honor

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Junior tailback William Green (Atlantic City, N.J.) earned BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week honors in football after rushing for 204 yards and three touchdowns in the quarterback Ken Dorsey.

Green, a 2000 first team all-BIG EAST performer, finished the game with a 7.3 yards per carry average and one reception for 33 yards. His 204-yard rushing total is the top output in the nation so far this season.

The Eagles will next take on Stanford on Saturday, September 8 in Palo Alto, Calif. Game time is 10 p.m. EDT.
