Softball Adds Third To Class of 2005

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Head softball coach Jen Finley has announced that a third freshman, Ashlee Cappucci, will join the team in 2002. A native of Tustin, Calif., Cappucci is a catcher/outfielder who played her high school ball at Tustin High School. She is also a member of the Orange County Bat Buster summer travel team.

Cappucci joins Lisa Field (Encinitas, Calif.) and Michelle Daly (Carlisle, Mass.) in the class of 2005.

Boston College completed the 2001 season with a 31-24 record and lost two players - Summer Jarratt and Jen Perrotta - to graduation this year.
