Eagles Snap Three Game Losing Streak

ALBANY, N.Y. - The Boston College women's lacrosse team snapped its three game losing streak today, when they defeated Albany, 20-10, at Varsity Field, in Albany, N.Y. Leading the Eagles with a career high six goals and three assists was junior Lauren Miller.
Boston College tallied five consecutive goals to begin the final period to extend their lead to nine. Miller scored twice and assisted on another goal in the decisive stretch. Senior Emily Ryan added four goals and one assist to the Eagles to victory, while freshmen Rachel Bausch and Tara Morley netted three goals apiece.
For Albany sophomore Maria Ferrucci led her team with a season-high six goals. Dawn DiMicco totaled one goal and two assists for the Great Danes.
In goal for the Eagles, Rachel Zeller stopped a season high 16. For Albany Liz Gress-Byrd saved 15.
With the win, the Eagles improve to 2-7 and 0-4 in the BIG EAST, while Albany falls to 3-5.
The Boston College women's lacrosse team will next face Connecticut, in a BIG EAST contest, on Tuesday, April 10, in Storrs, Conn. Game time is 7:00 p.m.
