Rutgers Doubleheader Pushed Back To 2 p.m.

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The softball team's doubleheader against Rutgers, the 2001 home opener for the Eagles, has been delayed until 2 p.m. on Saturday in order to properly prepare Shea Field for play. Friday's rain storm is expected to alter field conditions.

The doubleheader was orginally scheduled to start at noon. The Eagles are also scheduled to face Villanova in a doubleheader on Sunday at Shea Field, beginning at noon.
