MEN'S TENNIS FALLS TO KENTUCKY

CAMBRIDGE, MASS. -- The Boston College men's tennis team was defeated by Kentucky on Sunday, February 11 7-0 at Harvard.
The Eagles were defeated when they took on the Wildcats from Kentucky this past Sunday. Junior Colin Kennedy, sophomore Damon Vartabedian, and freshmen Justin Slattery, Brad Anderson, Paul Colahan and Ross Pytko all competed in singles for the Eagles, but Kentucky began strong by taking all six matches.
Kentucky proved difficult on the doubles side also, where they won all three matches, in route to a seven point sweep. The teams of senior Matt Stutz and junior Tim Brennan, Slattery/Pytko and Anderson/Colahan all took to the court for the Eagles.
The Eagles currently have a dual match record of 5-4 and 1-0 in the BIG EAST. The men's tennis team will next see action at Yale on Saturday, February 17, at 2:30 p.m.
