Women's Rowing Competes At The Head Of The Charles

BOSTON, Mass.-The Boston College women's rowing team participated in the annual Head of the Charles River Regatta on Saturday, October 20 and Sunday, October 21 on the Charles River in Boston, Mass. The event included crew teams from around the world. The Eagles varsity teams competed in two events, the Women's Champ 4 and the Women' Champ 8 races. BC's best performance came in the Champ 8 race, with boat 1 coming in 19th place.
Rowing a 17:05:49, the first varsity eight crew took 19th place. USRowing took first place.
In the Champ 4 event, BC finished in 25th place with a time of 20:02:85. Frankfurter Rudergesellschaft Rowing Club finished first.
Participating in the women's Club 8 event, BC finished in 36st place with a time of 18:52:84.
The Boston College women's rowing team will return to action on Saturday, October 27, when they compete at the Head of the Schuylkill in Pennsylvania.
