Eagles Finish Strong At Dartmouth Invitational

HANOVER, N.H. - Hanover Country Club and Dartmouth College played host to 85 golfers this past weekend at the Dartmouth College Invitational. Out of 17 teams, Boston College placed 9th, with a 594 (297-297) two-round total. Junior Rich Tilghman claimed the honors as BC's highest finisher, again, placing tied for fourth overall with a 140 (70-70). Freshman Christopher Sanossian came in tied for 27th with a 147 (74-73) over the two days. Mike Rich, Sean McReynolds, and Patrick Martin rounded off the Eagles' performance.
The University of Rhode Island were the top finishers at the Invitational, shooting an impressive 563 (286-277). Dartmouth's Lee Birchall, of the Green Team, took individual honors for the tournament with a 135 (68-67).
On Sunday, October 1, the Eagles will be participating in the Toski Invitational Golf Tournament at Hickory Ridge, C.C, in Amherst, Mass.
