WORCESTOR, MASS. - By placing first out of nine teams with a final stroke count of 313 in the ECAC Qualifier held today in Worcestor, Mass., the Boston College Eagles have qualified for the ECAC Championships. The championships are to be held October 5th in Hamilton, N.Y. Finishing strong for the Eagles were Senior Mike Rich with a 76 and Freshman Christopher Sanossian with a 77.
As a rule of thumb, three teams automatically qualify for the championships from each regional tournament. The top two individuals and ties in each region that haven't qualified also advance to the championships.
The men's team has been invited to participate in the Toski Invitational at the Hickory Ridge Country Club in Amherst, Mass. This tournament is to be held this weekend.
